El Tequileño was founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. Its tequilas are made from 100% blue Weber agave from the Los Altos highlands and volcanic spring water, without additives. El Tequileño Blanco is a favourite of bartenders for Margaritas and Palomas.
