Louis Roederer is one of the last great family-owned Champagne houses, founded in Reims in 1776 and still run by the Rouzaud family. Cristal, created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, is among the most famous champagnes in the world.
The family also owns leading estates in Bordeaux, Provence and beyond, including Château de Pez and Domaines Ott.
